Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control and Patrol in Groveport, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support badge and access-control activities, use computer or tablet systems, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
