Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing and aerospace quality operations. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing first piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformity and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality and ensuring customer expectations are met. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products.
• Verify product conformity to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Utilize measuring and inspection equipment to verify dimensional and visual characteristics.
• Review production and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming material or process conditions.
• Assist with containment and segregation of nonconforming material.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Support internal audits, quality system activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to resolve quality
• concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform measurements accurately.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and scales.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to visually inspect materials and products, including color, surface condition, and dimensional characteristics.
