Registered Nurse - PreOp/PACU

Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is seeking a PreOp/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients with various conditions and acuity levels undergoing various procedures including; but not limited toorthopedics, total joints, sports medicine, GYN, urology, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, and some spine.Shift Details: FT- Days. This position takes call. Callback response time is 30 minutes. This is a tight knit collaborative team that supports each other and are willing to go above and beyond for their peers, our patients and their families. They are a customer focused team where patient experience is a top priority.The Work:Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.Utilizesthe nursing processPerformspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staffCoordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomesDemonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and proceduresJob RequirementsApplicable Experience:1 yearAdvanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)Associate Degree - NursingJob DetailsFull TimeDay (United States of America) The best place to get care.
