Senior Art Director, Demand Gen

Okta is hiring a Senior Art Director, Demand Gen in Bellevue, WA (onsite) to lead visual creative for global demand generation and growth. Responsibilities Act as the visual creative lead for integrated, global demand generation campaigns; set distinct aesthetic direction, narrative hierarchy, and digital design standards that strengthen the Okta brand Concept, design, and direct cohesive multi-channel creative across the conversion funnel, including paid acquisition (social, programmatic, and search display), landing pages, interactive product tours, gated research reports, and email journeys Partner with Demand Gen leaders, Global Campaign managers, and copywriters to translate campaign briefs, pipeline targets, and technical concepts into clear visual narratives Work with marketing operations and growth marketers to review analytics, engagement heatmaps, and creative A/B testing results, then apply quantitative insights to iterative design improvements Extend core brand identity into high-conversion environments while maintaining visual consistency, accessibility (WCAG compliance) , and responsive web standards Build modular Figma components , campaign templates, and layout systems to accelerate asset production at scale without sacrificing quality Collaborate with dedicated copywriters, motion designers, web producers, and external creative agencies from initial brief through final asset handoff Requirements 6+ years of art direction or senior visual design experience, with direct focus on multi-channel digital campaigns, demand generation, or performance creative in B2B SaaS , enterprise tech, or top-tier digital agencies Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated typography, visual hierarchy, layout design, and modular creative systems across digital touchpoints (ad packages, conversion web pages, editorial assets, interactive experiences) Expertise in UX/UI best practices, digital visual hierarchy, mobile-first design, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies Advanced proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), plus modern asset management and workflow tools Ability to review performance metrics and work within A/B testing frameworks to guide creative iteration Strong verbal and visual presentation skills, including the ability to clearly explain design rationale and strategic thinking to marketing executives, product teams, and cross-functional partners Proactive self-starter with experience partnering closely with copywriters and mentoring junior or mid-level designers Technologies Figma Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop Illustrator InDesign WCAG A/B testing HTML CSS After Effects Lottie Benefits Equity (where applicable) Bonus Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) Bonus Points Direct experience designing for enterprise cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms Working knowledge of motion design (After Effects, Lottie) or rich media animation for paid social and digital ad units Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS) and web design frameworks Okta Experience Supporting Your Well-Being Driving Social Impact Developing Talent and Fostering Connection + Community Location: Bellevue, WA (onsite) Salary: USD 143,000 - 196,000 per year Minimum experience: 6 years #J-18808-Ljbffr Designer Jobs
