The Opportunity
The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a board certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our interdisciplinary team. This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.
What You Will Do
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services within Lahey's academic medical center.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
- Commit to promoting quality care transitions.
Program & Educational Focus
- LHMC is affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
- Our division hosts an ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
- We support candidates' interests with available clinical, educational, and academic opportunities.
- Preferred: interest and experience in medical education and program development.
- Academic appointment opportunity with the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine (commensurate with achievement).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship training by hire date, or demonstrate comparable experience.
- Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine.
- Demonstrate passion for clinical palliative care.

Pay Range: $220,000.00 USD - $240,000.00 USD
