Field Clinical Specialist, Chicago, TMTT

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to support transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve therapies in the Chicago area. The role involves training physicians, coordinating hospital education programs, and providing real-time clinical guidance during device implants.
Responsibilities
- Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs at hospital sites
- Provide on-site real-time guidance during clinical implants and develop contingency plans
- Identify therapy adoption opportunities and collaborate with sales teams
- Document procedural observations for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Associate's degree in related field with minimum five years medical device and/or clinical experience
- Medical device industry experience or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to travel 60-75% including overnight stays
- Interventional cardiology or cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
- Clinical imaging experience in structural heart procedures or cardiac sonography (RDCS/RDS) preferred
- Cardiovascular science and valvular heart disease knowledge preferred
Compensation: $124,000-$149,000 base (Illinois)
