Registered Nurse I-Health

Job Role Registered Nurse I or II on the ART 7 West Hope Unit reports to the Nurse Manager. Under general supervision, the RN provides individualized, goal‑directed nursing care to patients and families and collaborates with the interdisciplinary health‑care team. Responsibilities Deliver goal‑directed nursing care to patients and families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired health outcomes. Assist with patient assessments and care planning. Implement nursing interventions and document care. Adhere to nursing standards and hospital policies. Minimum Training and Education Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN hires with an Associate or Diploma must complete an accredited BSN program within four years of hire or reclassification. Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations Current registered nurse licensure in South Carolina or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent). Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs continuously; lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists; maintain fine and gross motor functions. Capacity to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Ability to work in a latex‑safe environment and maintain adequate vision and hearing acuity.
