ICU RN II (PRN) - Camden

Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Qualifications Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Licensure & Certifications Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, and perform work in various positions including kneeling, bending, twisting, and squatting. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; lift objects from floor to overhead and manage additional weight with assistance as needed. Good vision (20/40 corrected), hearing, fine and gross motor skills, and ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime as required, in a latex safe environment, and for selected positions use respirator equipment.
