Radiologic Technologist- PRN

The Radiologic Technologist performs medical radiologic imaging studies including X-ray and Fluoroscopy to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patients of the Bethany Children’s Center. The Radiology Technologist not only utilized their training and experience to provide excellent images, but they also endeavor to provide a safe, effective, and caring environment for our patients. Provides personal pediatric care, recognizing the worth and dignity of each patient. The radiographer will provide the patient care essential to quality radiologic exams.This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, with employees eligible to work up to 15 hours per week as staffing needs arise.Operate and maintain mobile x-ray imaging services.70%Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into a specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.10%Collaborates with hospital leaders, physicians, and other Allied Health professionals to provide excellent imaging services through development of ongoing quality improvement practices.5%Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures, developing radiographs, observing radiographic results, and making necessary adjustments.5%Work closely with Speech Language Pathologists, Radiologic Services partners, outpatient clinic providers, and the Radiology Medical Director to provide Fluoroscopic imaging for swallow studies and other related fluoroscopy needs.5%Other duties as assigned5%Education:Associate’s degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.Experience:Previous Radiology experience is preferred.License/Certification/Credential:American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification & BLS is preferred.About UsOur work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.Bethany Children’s Health Center is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care.
