A nationally recognized rehabilitation hospital in the Boston area is adding a Hospitalist. About the Opportunity: This is a full-time position in a 180-bed long-term acute care facility This is a community-based, non-academic role focused on clinical excellence in a collaborative environment The hospitalist will manage a panel of medically fragile patients with support from physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, nursing, pharmacy, therapy, case management, and specialty consultants Serve as attending physician for medically complex and post-acute rehab inpatients Conduct daily rounds and manage care for a typical panel of 10?14 patients per day The schedule is Monday through Friday No nights or weekends No overnight shifts; nocturnist coverage in place Ability to sign up for moonlighting shifts (nights or weekends) as available Offering a guaranteed salary and a full array of benefits Community/Location: Located across the Charles River from Boston, this city offers a vibrant urban lifestyle, cultural richness, and walkable neighborhoods.
