Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Location: Fort Worth, TX Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across the organization. This individual will partner with finance and operational leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling and analytical skills, experience working with NetSuite ERP , and the ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders across the business. We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across the organization. This individual will partner with finance and operational leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling and analytical skills, experience working with NetSuite ERP , and the ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and management reporting packages.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
- Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and provide financial guidance.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Utilize NetSuite to extract, analyze, and report on financial data.
- Improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Support ad hoc financial analyses, presentations, and executive reporting.
- Assist with month-end close activities and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with financial reporting tools or business intelligence platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
- Experience supporting a multi-site or growing organization.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required.
- A highly analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to improve processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- A team player who can translate financial data into actionable business insights.
