A school district in the Greater Houston area is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity. This position welcomes both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Supervision and mentorship will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates looking to begin their careers in a supportive educational setting.

Position Details:

Location: Greater Houston area, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Setting: School-Based (K–12)
Schedule: Monday–Friday during school hours
Caseload: Assigned based on district needs and candidate experience
Clinical Fellowship supervision available

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals
Provide direct speech-language services in individual and small group settings
Address communication areas including articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, social communication, and related speech-language needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
Supervision and mentorship available for Clinical Fellows
School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
