Registered Nurse - Spanish Speaking

Experienced Bilingual Spanish RN needed for a newly created outpatient walk‑in clinic program on a multi‑specialty campus in Newark, NJ. This position is ideal for a high‑energy, adaptable nurse with strong ER/triage experience who can confidently assess and manage urgent presentations in an ambulatory setting. The clinic serves a high volume of walk‑in patients and requires someone comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple providers. Key Highlights Newly developed walk‑in clinic program with opportunity to help shape workflows and processes. Fast‑paced outpatient environment handling urgent patient visits. Triage and management of acute presentations including: Chest pain Asthma exacerbations Hypertensive crises Other urgent medical concerns requiring rapid assessment Located on a three‑building healthcare campus with onsite specialties including: Cardiology Pulmonology Nephrology Primary Care Neurology Psychiatry Dedicated triage area designed to separate walk‑in urgent patients from scheduled clinic visits. Patient volume can vary significantly, requiring flexibility and strong clinical judgment. Some days may be slower, while others can be extremely busy. Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional Saturday coverage. Saturday shifts may be compensated with additional pay or PTO/flex time during the week. Requirements Active RN license. Strong Emergency Room and triage experience required. Comfortable assessing and prioritizing acute and potentially unstable patients in an outpatient setting. Experience managing respiratory, cardiovascular, and hypertension‑related presentations. Spanish fluency required. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, unpredictable environment. Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to supporting multiple providers across specialties. Flexible and adaptable personality with a patient‑focused mindset.
