Registered Nurse Consultant

VitaCare Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our assisted living and memory care communities in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, as a contracted RN Consultant. This role focuses on clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, staff education, and quality improvement to help ensure residents receive safe, respectful, individualized care. You'll partner with community leaders and caregivers to strengthen clinical practices, maintain survey readiness, and meet Wisconsin DHS 83 requirements. • Experience in assisted living, Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs), memory care, or long-term care
• Working knowledge of Wisconsin DHS 83 regulations and the assisted living survey process
• Experience with medication management, RN delegation, and staff competency assessments and training
• Clinical auditing, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance experience preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to translate findings into practical action plans
• Reliable transportation, willingness to travel to VitaCare Living communities as needed, and ability to pass a caregiver background check
- Pay: $45 per hour
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 12 hours per week minimum
- Work arrangement: Combination of on-site community visits and remote work based on community needs
