Requirements

• Required certification: Cath Lab
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; 18 months exp. required (refer to job description for exceptions) 2. Cases: Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI required; interventional cases (not IR), STEMI required; EP and TAVR experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; PALS listed in skills section 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; no specific charting required for any IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included; dayshift 7:00-17:30 with call rotation after hours; floating 100% required 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 days of non-holiday RTO or less; candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted at lower BR for surgical services, allied positions, and IU clinics; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions 11. Background: Must be noted prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Siemens X ray system; EP devices required Critical: Must be comfortable using EP devices. Two supervisor references required.
