Shift: 8H Days 0630-1500, Monday-Friday. Evening and Weekend call required

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room is responsible for providing safe, effective, and quality patient care in the surgical setting. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare for and assist during procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and assess operating room for surgeries, ensuring all equipment is functional.
Assist surgical team during operations with proper handling and care of instruments and patient.
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure strict adherence to infection control practices.
Perform post-operative assessments and help in patient recovery monitoring.

Requirements:

BLS certification required
Experience with robotic and GI endoscopic procedures preferred
RN license submission required
Must reside within a 60-mile radius for quick call response
