As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare laboratory setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory facilities, offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and security-related observations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality around patient and laboratory information.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
