Janitor (Nights)

Merit Medical seeks a Janitor for night shift work at their South Jordan, UT facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the medical device manufacturing plant, including cleanrooms, offices, and bathrooms, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize cleanrooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas throughout facility
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums and mops; handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Empty trash, manage recycling program, and stock supplies in all areas
• Complete regulatory checklists for cleanroom cleaning requirements
• Assist Facilities team with setup for meetings, training, and special events

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to follow through on assigned tasks independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and work on feet for majority of shift
• Safe operation of cleaning equipment and chemicals
