Adjunct Faculty - Surveying Engineering Technology

Overview The Surveying Engineering Technology at Rowan University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach courses at the undergraduate level. We seek an energetic and innovative teacher, committed to excellence in engineering education, to join our dedicated family of faculty members. Applicants with expertise in all fundamental areas of surveying engineering are invited to apply. Courses may include, but are not limited to Boundary and Topographic Surveying, Photogrammetry, Geodesy, Least Squares Adjustment and Analysis, Mapping from Unmanned Aerial Systems, Terrestrial Laser Scanning Technology, and Senior Capstone courses. Qualifications Earned at least a Master of Science degree in Surveying Engineering or a related field Minimum of five years of industrial experience Professional license in surveying and a minimum of ten years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Master’s Degree Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary student and faculty teams Ability to teach in a project-based setting Compensation and Job Type Part-time, non‑tenure track, with renewable contracts based on performance, departmental needs, and university budgetary approvals Minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught (maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year) NOTE All positions are contingent upon budget appropriations. Please note: candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position. In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year.
