Job Description Shift Leader Join #TheAbsoluteWurst Team ! Dog Haus is seeking a hard-working, dependable, energetic Shift Leader. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to grow their career in hospitality with at least one year leadership experience. Position Overview: As a Shift Leader, you’ll play a key role in running day-to-day operations and lead both front-and back-of-house teams. You’ll ensure smooth shifts, great food, and outstanding guest service while upholding Dog Haus standards. Key Responsibilities: Motivate and coach the team to provide excellent hospitality Oversee shift operations, including opening and closing duties Ensure food quality, speed and accuracy Manage cash handling, inventory, and daily prep levels Train and support team members; uphold food and safety standards Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues in real time What We’re Looking For: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a supervisory role Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old. 1-2 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred. Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs. Knowledgeable of restaurant operations, including safety and sanitation practices.
