Charge Nurse (RN)As a charge nurse (RN), you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.You Will:Train staff and assist the director of nursingSupport dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residentsAssist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulationsEnsure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plansKnow and follow infection control and safety proceduresReview, update and communicate resident care documentation.Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulationsYou Currently:Possess a current registered nurse license in good standingTypical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare.
