Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a SQL Developer at Shiloh Christian High School. The SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain SQL databases that support academic, administrative, and reporting needs. Daily responsibilities include writing and optimizing SQL queries, building and refining data models, and implementing ETL processes to integrate data from multiple systems. The role also involves troubleshooting data issues, ensuring data quality and security, and collaborating with educators and administrators to translate requirements into technical solutions. The SQL Developer will document database structures and processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong database development skills, including SQL query creation, optimization, and maintenance

• Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for moving and transforming data between systems
\n
• Proficiency in database design and data modeling to support reporting, analytics, and system integrations
\n
• Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data, diagnosing issues, and supporting data-driven decisions
\n
• Familiarity with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
\n
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
\n
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
\n

Pay: $114,667.05 - $158,667.16 a year
