Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Service Technicians eager to advance their careers. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment at various customer facilities throughout the region.
Responsibilities

• Perform routine and periodic inspections on overhead cranes, hoists, rigging, and related lifting equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural components, including motors, brakes, gearboxes, bearings, and wire rope.
• Manage electrical controls, contactors, VFDs, and pendant/radio controls.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and conduct field service repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, drives, limit switches, and mechanical components.
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and complete service documentation and work orders.
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the region.

Essential Skills

• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Proficiency in handling cranes, electrical and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with VFDs, quality inspections, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous troubleshooting experience is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and around overhead equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time (around Indiana).

Work Environment
Work in a large manufacturing setting with a small team presence. Day shifts typically run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The environment is clean and safety is the top priority. Technicians will often work at heights using boom or scissor lifts, maintaining up to 500 cranes on site at certain customer locations. Candidates must be comfortable navigating facilities and representing our company in front of clients.

This is a Permanent position based out of Westfield, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
