We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force’s Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), one of the three designated Field Commands under USSF. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. Come join an organization responsible for being a key enabler of Spacepower!SPA has a near-tem opening for a Contracts Administrator.ResponsibilitiesDuties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:Administers and manages company contracts, monitoring contract transactions from negotiation to close-out.Ensures that contracts, modifications, and agreements comply with relevant legal requirements, contract specifications, and government regulations. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of contract terms and conditions.Provide timely support to management and proposal team to facilitate the review of solicitation and identifying questions. Prepare worksheets and perform calculations in support of contract activities.Establish and maintain excellent internal and external relationships with Program Managers, Customers, and other departments.Resolve issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfication of legal requirements, company and customer objectives.Develop and maintain electronic file management of all contract related documents.QualificationsAbout the Must HavesUS Citizenship + active TS/SCI security clearance8+ years of related work experience with MA/MS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in STEM, Business, Contract Administration, Statistics, International Relations, Military Studies, Political Science, National Security, Government Economics, Pre-law/Law, or related field of studySuperior interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication skills, and attention to detailAble to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of department prioritiesRecognized expert at developing briefs and reports for leadership team reviewAdditional qualifications as needed by organization requirementsAbility to report to designated work location in El Segundo, CA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customerPay Range InformationAt SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
