Experience: Prior experience in Long Term Care (LTC) preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $38.86/hour

What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under supervision
• Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatments as needed
• Document all treatments, assessments, and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members
• Participate in patient care meetings, rehabilitation reviews, and ongoing training
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adhere to all professional standards, ethical practices, and state licensing requirements

What You Need

• Valid active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
