• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or complications to the medical team.
• Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and potential side effects.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required. An Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
• Licensure as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Three years of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is required.
