Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 22, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Details Located in Denver, CO at an acute care hospital Respiratory Care Department supporting adult and neonatal/pediatric populations Level III NICU setting with additional PEDS support Equipment includes G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30 ventilators specific to patient population EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred) Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 13-week contract Responsibilities Airway management Ventilator management ED support PICU experience is preferred Prior Meditech experience is preferred Strong patient care and communication skills are a priority Local candidates are not accepted — no exceptions Qualifications Active RRT license and certification required — license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU RRT hospital experience Level III NICU experience required Pediatric (PEDS) experience required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (NRP must be current per American Academy of Pediatrics) AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start of the assignment No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and date of birth (DOB) required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted One professional reference required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management, and ED support PICU experience is preferred Prior Meditech experience is preferred Strong patient care and communication skills are a priority Local candidates are not accepted — no exceptions American Traveler Job ID #P-717810.
