Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with EKGs, IV placement, and medication administration
• Support conscious sedation procedures and wound care
• Operate GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology techs, and security personnel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current ENPC certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale and PALS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an ER Charge RN
• Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department units as needed
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented professional demeanor
