Sr. HR Specialist

Empath Health is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Specialist to assist the Human Resources Business Partners team with colleague relations investigations, general human resources functions, handling day-to-day questions from colleagues, and creating human resources policies. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, excellent oral and written communication skills. Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.Conduct surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to Human Resources Business Partners, or Human Resources Director. This is a hybrid position, and candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of an Empath office. What you'll Do Assists with employee relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and compliance issues; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff. Interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organization. Assists with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and providing overall administrative support. Takes initiative in following up on assignments, ensuring tasks are completed and projects are finalized. Conducts research and analysis to support projects, decision-making, and organizational needs. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel. Able to create formulas, spreadsheets, and compile data. Conduct surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to Human Resources Business Partners, or Human Resources Director. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to support the HR Business Partner team. Dynamic interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Superior time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel. Able to create formulas, spreadsheets, and compile data Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business preferred. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
