Description EWEB is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to manage EWEB's electric, water and steam utility vehicles and motorized equipment fleet, including supervising, planning and coordinating all the activities in a full-service vehicle and equipment repair facility. The successful candidate will have excellent people management skills, the ability and experience to manage a $3.5 million dollar annual budget, and the desire to implement various methods, training and environmental improvements in the EWEB's fleet business. Read about EWEB at: Minimum Training And Experience Required Requirements As A Qualification & Progression Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' progressively responsible experience in fleet management principles and practices. Five (5) years of proven supervisory and managerial experience in planning, scheduling, and oversight of activities associated with the fleet management environment and with major budget responsibilities. Supervisory experience must include selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating, coaching, and disciplining employees; planning, organizing and delegating work; and ensuring work is performed within resource constraints. Knowledge and familiarity with Union collective bargaining agreements and Electrical Utility experience highly preferred. Education and/or training: High school diploma or equivalent with vocational / technical training in automotive or diesel repair, fabrication, and / or some business administration education. Must be trained in all levels of mechanical repair, automotive and heavy truck or equipment repair, preferably graduating from an automotive trade school, specializing in diesel, hydraulic and heavy truck repair. Oregon driver license: Yes Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months of appointment. Equipment, tools, machines, motor vehicles, etc., operated on the job: Hand and power tools and equipment used in maintenance and operation of automotive and machine shop, heavy motorized trucks and equipment. Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Shift: Monday-Friday, Days, Other: Overtime as required. Physical activities (exertion, environmental conditions, risks, safety, etc.): Occasionally work outside in all types of weather, in cramped areas, with all types of vehicles and equipment.
