Join a dynamic locum tenens opportunity focused on internal medicine where you will mentor and supervise residents in a clinic-based setting, guiding their patient care and professional development. This short-term assignment runs through the summer and is designed to cover a maternity leave, giving you the chance to shape an IM residency team and collaborate with experienced clinicians. Expect a weekday clinic schedule with no on-call duties, enabling you to deliver comprehensive adult and geriatric care while supporting a small group of resident physicians. Ideal candidates will be board-certified in Internal Medicine with outpatient experience and a passion for teaching, creating a fertile environment to elevate resident performance and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Michigan medical license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience in adult and geriatric outpatient care
• Ability to supervise resident preceptors and clinic staff
• Locum provider available for Monday-Friday clinic coverage 8:00-4:30 PM
• Self-Query NPDB (should be pulled within the month) required at the time of presentation
