Warehouse Associate

Location: Tualatin, OR. Minimum Hours: USD $17.00 / hr. Overview Warehouse Associate position at Parts Authority. The role involves full‑time work focused on receiving, labeling, storing and shipping inventory to meet customer demand. Responsibilities Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock. Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock. Scanning items into the warehouse management system. Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of those damages. Organizing warehouse space for efficient use. Preparing orders for shipment and picking items as required. Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments. Operating stock management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks. Counting stock and keeping inventory records. Routine cleaning duties. Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized. Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations. Qualifications Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal. Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements. Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10–50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach and occasionally sit and climb ladders or stairs. May be subject to environmental conditions and required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. Requires specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Attention to detail, great communication skills and time‑management skills. Works well under pressure and collaborates effectively with staff and supervisors. Open availability, flexible, able to work various shifts and overtime. 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Familiarity with and promotion of workplace safety.
