Pay Rate: $21.48 - $22.68 per hour

Training Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Post-Training Flexible Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-9:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Employees select an 8-hour shift within these windows and are required to work one evening per week until 9:00 PM.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong reading comprehension, written communication, and computer skills required.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed collection procedures, compliance standards, and company policies.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or debt recovery experience .
• Proficiency with data entry, typing, and modern office software and computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills with a professional phone presence.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY .

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, use a computer, and communicate by phone for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Capable of accurately reviewing account information, entering data, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

Job Duties

• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and discuss available repayment solutions.
• Handle inbound and outbound collections calls while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and compliance.
• Perform skip tracing to locate updated contact, employment, or account information.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate complex collection matters when appropriate.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account activity in company systems.
• Verify account information for special circumstances, including bankruptcy, disability, and other legal considerations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company collection regulations and policies.
• Support additional administrative and collections-related tasks as assigned.
