Retail Pharmacy Technician

The Retail Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The Retail Pharmacy Technician is responsible for maintaining a professional attitude that ensures efficient, accurate, and timely distribution of medications processed through the retail pharmacy. The Retail Pharmacy Technician will maintain the drug inventory, process patient prescriptions, process insurance claims, and maintain patient records. Responsibilities also includes assisting pharmacy customers both in person and via in bound phone calls.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent certification

• IL Pharmacy Technician License valid in the state of IL

• Proof of PTCB or NHA valid in the state of IL

• Minimum of one recent year relevant experience as a retail or outpatient pharmacy technician

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Title: Retail Pharmacy Technician

• Shift: 12:30pm-9pm (40 hours per week)

• Weekend Requirement: Saturdays as needed

• Pay: 27 / hour +weekly pay and full time benefits
