Maintenance Technician

Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a passion for keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues using testing and measuring instruments
• Dismantle equipment and replace defective parts
• Fabricate and repair parts using shop tools and equipment
• Assist with reducing downtime through routine maintenance and communication with production teams
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and ongoing equipment needs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred
• Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience using hand tools and troubleshooting industrial equipment
• Preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge required
• Basic multi-meter skills
• PLC experience is a plus
• Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred (MIG/TIG)
• Ability to wire a 480V motor preferred
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on season
• Strong attendance and reliability required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
