Quick Facts Location: Alpena, MI Start Date: 07/27/2026 End Date: 10/26/2026 Shift: Days, 8 hours Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Temporary, per diem License/Certs: Licensed Occupational Therapist in Michigan (or eligible) Experience: At least 1 year outpatient OT experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $59.35/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated team support throughout assignment What You ll Do Evaluate patients' physical, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive functions using formal and informal assessments Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance Collaborate with physicians by submitting written treatment regimens and updating plans as necessary Coordinate treatment schedules with patients, families, and support staff Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, treatment options, and prognosis Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students according to standards Contribute to patient recovery through therapy modalities, rest, exercise, and interventions What You Need Required: Active OT license in Michigan Minimum 1 year outpatient OT experience Strong assessment and patient education skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred: Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings Supervision experience About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Alpena, MI, providing outpatient occupational therapy to diverse patient populations.
