Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Beckley, WV, where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role supports surgical and emergency services and contributes to patient-centered respiratory care within an accredited facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• All required client certifications must be obtained prior to start. Client may require additional certifications; refer to the LPNT checklist for current requirements.
• Candidates applying as local clinicians must meet the client requirement of residing 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel status, when applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital settings with exposure to emergency services, trauma, or perioperative respiratory care.
• Experience with advanced and specialty surgical services such as robotic-assisted procedures and interventional cardiology contexts.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800-0600.
• 12-hour shift pattern.
• Orientation conducted biweekly on Wednesdays.
