Senior Scheduling Engineer - Mission Critical

Senior Scheduling Engineer Ryan Companies US, Inc. is looking for an immediate hire for a Senior Scheduling Engineer. The position is a full‑time role that demands extensive experience in mission‑critical construction project scheduling and thrives in a fast, inclusive, collaborative workspace. Responsibilities Assist and grow regional field teams with scheduling tools consistent with industry best practices. Ensure and partner with project teams to keep schedules accurate and current. Help teams monitor and interpret schedule health dashboards and performance reports. Facilitate detailed planning sessions in regional offices or jobsite locations. Lead collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders for sequencing, manpower, and duration input. Initiate or facilitate peer‑review sessions on complex or high‑profile projects as directed by the VP of Field Operations. Capture and analyze completed schedule data to support the Data Analytics team in continuous improvement. Provide periodic information for internal communications (e.g., intranet, training sessions, department meetings). Serve as a resource to project construction teams. Support special projects related to overall Scheduling Operations. Keep abreast of industry developments in mission‑critical construction scheduling and communicate them to the team. Exhibit leadership qualities that set a positive example for all employees. Requirements Minimum 8 years in the construction industry, including 5 years in planning and scheduling of mission‑critical projects. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated understanding of field operations and building construction techniques. Strong grasp of planning and scheduling principles and techniques. Proficiency in Primavera P6, 4D scheduling software, and MS Project is a plus. In‑depth knowledge of schedule delay analysis methods and critical‑path delay time extensions. Ability to listen, understand, and help resolve scheduling issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership with effective group or individual guidance. Self‑starter with a proactive approach and innovation mindset. Ability to train, mentor, motivate, and communicate effectively with others. Willingness to travel up to 50% across regions or specific projects. Ability to walk job sites and assess progress. Positive attitude, disciplined work ethic, and action orientation. Collaborative work style with developers, designers, pre‑construction, project managers, and field managers.
