Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to local protocols, including trauma CT studies, while maintaining image quality and patient safety
• Operate CT equipment, optimize protocols, monitor patient status, and ensure accurate patient positioning
• Initiate intravenous access (PIVs) when required and manage IV-related tasks within scope
• Work within the EPIC electronic medical record system to track exams, document findings, and communicate with radiologists and care teams
• Collaborate with radiology staff in a teaching setting to support efficient exam flow and patient comfort
• Adhere to ALARA principles, radiation safety guidelines, and infection control standards during all procedures

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification (CT verification) and active ARRT credentials
• BLS certification
• VT license application required at time of offer (licensing process to begin promptly)
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
• Ability to perform trauma scans independently and start PIVs when needed
• Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility or teaching-focused environment
• Phillips experience preferred
