Janitorial Operations Manager - 3rd Shift

Housekeeping Manager – 3rd Shift Overnight (9 pm–7 am) Position Summary Full‑time role, salary $68,000–$70,000 per year. Responsible for operational and financial success of the nightly janitorial services region. Work weekends and other required days. Participate in planning and budgeting; manage the regional budget with corporate team. Control overhead expenses and implement cost‑reduction strategies. Ensure service delivery meets quality objectives and contractual requirements. Lead process‑improvement initiatives to enhance productivity while maintaining quality. Maintain current and prospective customer relationships. Support business‑development activities, including new account acquisition and customer retention. Leverage existing relationships for new business opportunities. Develop management team for professional growth. Ensure region follows established company policies and procedures. Respond to follow‑up via phone, email, or text within two hours. Administer hiring, promotion, and termination policies. Conduct job inspections and correct deficiencies. Accurate daily timekeeping and timely payroll submission. Procure supplies, equipment, and inventory in line with contractual needs. Maintain constant communication with the regional Vice President. Travel locally or nationally to client locations as required. Identify incremental sales opportunities within the existing customer base. Develop professional customer relationships in person and over the phone. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. 3–7 years managing a janitorial operation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build trust, value others, collaborate, and solve problems creatively. Proactive in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with employees and departments. Technical knowledge of all aspects of janitorial service delivery.
