About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac Advanced Device Therapy Management, including IABP and Impella management, as well as Swan-Ganz management. Description: Deliver high-quality direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN). Ensure safe, evidence-based interventions aligned with organizational policies and clinical standards. Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans. Evaluate outcomes and adjust treatment to optimize patient safety and recovery. Administer physician and nursing orders promptly. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Advance quality improvement initiatives. Lead discharge planning efforts. Collaborate with patients and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions. Facilitate effective post-acute care planning. Care for a high-risk patient population including cardiac surgery and advanced heart failure. Utilize advanced equipment and therapies such as ECMO and CRRT. Manage complex monitoring situations including Swan Ganz catheters.
