Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, Day Shift, Pharmacy

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, you will: Evaluate, refine, develop, implement, and monitor workflow processes and improvement initiatives. Oversee timekeeping and payroll which includes scheduling staff, monitoring overtime, tardiness, and absences. Provide staff training and development. Responsible, in conjunction with pharmacy leadership for USP 795, 797, and 800 compliances Create and evaluates competency assessments. Responsible for conflict resolution and corrective action when appropriate. Participate in the recruiting process. Interview pharmacy technician applicants and work with the pharmacy team to select best candidates. Participate in the recruiting process. Assist pharmacy leadership in designing the future direction of pharmacy services Staff when necessary and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Include: High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience Current Maryland Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification 5 years' experience as a hospital pharmacy technician 1-year previous experience in a pharmacy leadership tech role preferred Active working knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800. Knowledge of software: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Previous experience with Cerner, Pyxis, Pharmogistics, Carousels, and MacroHelix preferred Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Sunday through Thursday - off (Friday, Saturday) Weekends Required Shift Type: Day Holiday Requirements: Required/On-call/Follow company holiday calendar Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $29.08 - $42.17 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
