The Role As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) , you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with them, assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, promoting their well‑being, and helping them connect with their communities. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference. The full‑time, hourly position pays $21.00 – $23.10 per hour. A valid NYS Driver’s License with 18+ months of clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway’s Transportation Orientation is required. New hires who do not meet this criterion will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities Provide direct support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation as needed. Promote independence, well‑being, and community engagement through planning and implementation of individual care plans.
