Registered Nurse Or Licensed Practical Nurse

This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses or LPNs who excel in 1:1 pediatric care. Work closely with students and families, helping ensure safety and comfort on their daily commute and throughout the school day for the full 2026-2027 academic year.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active RN or LPN license with current credentials for Michigan
• Experience delivering individualized care to medically complex children, especially in a school or pediatric setting
• Preferred training in ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Confidence riding school buses to support students during transport
• Compassion, attention to detail, and effective communication

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with medical complexities, including support on school buses and on campus
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and handle medical equipment (such as vents or trachs, if required)
• Communicate clearly with families and school staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and follow individualized care plans

• Morning (6 am 8 am) and afternoon (3 pm 5 pm) shifts, with hours adjusted to the students bus and school schedule
