Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Days (7:00–19:00) or Nights (19:00–7:00) | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with an expected ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed during the assignment
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Must commit to all requested time off and scheduling needs at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered under alternate terms
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
• Background must meet facility standards; facility does not accept background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
• Strong adaptability and willingness to support staffing needs across nearby facilities
