Emergency Medicine Needed in Coastal Alaska

About the Position We’re looking for a physician who is willing to practice medicine where it matters most. This full‑time emergency medicine opportunity is located in Nome, Alaska, along the Bering Sea. You’ll be part of a team that includes more than 70% Alaska Native staff, deeply connected to the people, culture, and land they serve. Schedule and Compensation 4‑week on / 4‑week off schedule 12‑hour shifts, 4–5 days per week (approximately 7–8 patients per shift) Fewer than 25 patients per 24 hours $183.75 per hour (~$315K annually), plus $30K sign‑on bonus, relocation, CME, covered airfare, and reduced‑cost housing Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care on a 4‑week on / 4‑week off schedule. Work 12‑hour shifts, 4–5 days a week. Qualifications Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice physicians with emergency experience. Family or internal medicine physicians are accepted with experience in Emergency Medicine. Providers with experience working with native patient populations are preferred. Benefits Permanent full‑time position with full‑time benefits (no PRN). Client pays for round‑trip ticket home every 4 weeks. Light schedule and true time away when off.
