Program Representative - Emergency Management

Program Representative - Emergency Management This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Emergency Management, Emergency Communications, Palouse Empire Fair, Parks, and Developmental Services. It is a professional, full‑time, regular 40‑hour per week position that promotes and encourages professional conduct, utilizes best practices, and follows appropriate management standards. The role provides financial, accounting, inventory, and public contact support. Responsibilities Generating general claims, journal entries, and purchase orders Maintaining records and preparing weekly, monthly, and annual reports Managing departmental payroll processes Responding to questions and inquiries from vendors, County employees, and the public Ensuring compliance with departmental policy and County Code Experience, Education, and Training Two (2) years of progressively increased knowledge and responsibility in the areas of customer service, clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience as applicable to the position. OR A combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge and ability.
