Intern - Planning Division (Part-Time)

Somerset County is seeking an intern to work part-time in the Planning Division 16 to 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Assist with transportation planning initiatives Prepare maps and graphics using GIS Support the development of reports, technical memoranda, and planning documents Assist with the preparation of materials for public meetings, stakeholder engagement, and visioning sessions Research best practices for transportation planning, complete streets, and multimodal design Coordinate with County staff across planning disciplines, including land development, environmental, and preservation planning Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student in planning, transportation planning, geography, civil engineering, public policy, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr NJTPA, Inc.
