Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with total joints
• Experience with craniotomy and spine procedures
• Experience with vascular procedures
• Experience with trauma procedures
• Experience with DaVinci robotics, including cardiac cases
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH)
• Other Regulatory Requirements

Assignment Details:

• Rotating schedule across shifts.
• Call and weekends are required.
• Weekend shifts may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
• Weekend call may include Saturday for 24 hours from 7a to 7a or Sunday for 16 hours from 7a to 11p.
• Additional Friday night shifts may be assigned.
• No block scheduling.
• Call response time is 30 minutes.
• In-house call rooms are available for use if needed.
