Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 12-hour night shift position within our Float Pool. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of Stepdown experience. Prior travel nurse experience is also required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, including medical floors, stepdown units, and surgical/oncology departments.
• Float between different areas as needed, primarily focusing on stepdown patients rather than critical ICU cases.
• Ensure adherence to patient care ratios of 1:5 to 1:6.
• Maintain competency in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown nursing experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.

Additional Information

Candidates must be willing to float as required. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is Epic. A pre-screening with the nursing manager will be part of the interview process.
